A Geylang speed studio can quote you a fresh set at $50. The catch isn't visible on day 1 — it shows up on day 14.

Same Qun, same menu, same prices — but the refill cadence we see in the actual studio book is different. Hougang regulars (mostly Hougang and Sengkang residents) refill every 3.2 weeks on average. Bugis clients (city office workers) refill every 2.8 weeks — more aircon, more humidity swings, slightly faster turnover. The annual cost difference: about S$80 over a year.
