Qun spent six years working in large, fast salons. Eight lashes per hour, three clients at once, no one remembering your name by the third visit. She opened yeux in 2020 to do the opposite: fewer clients, longer conversations, better work.

The name yeux (French for "eyes") was chosen because the studio began with lashes and brows — but it carries a second meaning too. In a neighbourhood where most salons lean loudly Mandarin or loudly Western, yeux holds both. English signage, Mandarin consultation, French name. Singapore, basically.
